Tamburitzans to perform at Merillat Centre on March 6

Huntington, Ind.- The Duquesne University Tamburitzans return to the main stage of the Merillat Centre for the Arts on March 6 to present a colorful celebration of the music, songs, and dances of Eastern Europe and neighboring folk cultures.

The Tamburitzans is the longest-running live stage show of its kind in the United States. Through a virtual journey filled with color, sound and movement, the ensemble relates the joys of life and the timeless beauty of the many cultures which it artistically represents.

The performance is Saturday, March 6, at 7:30 PM in the Merillat Centre's Zurcher Auditorium at Huntington University. Tickets are $18 for reserved seating, $16 for seniors and any student. Huntington University personnel may purchase tickets for $13.50, and HU students may purchase tickets for $5.

The Merillat Centre Box Office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cash, checks, and major credit cards are accepted. For further information, call 260-359-4261.
