The Business of Ministry and the Ministry of Business

HUNTINGTON, IN -- David Befus, president of the Latin American Mission, will present the second address of the 1999-2000 Forester Lecture Series at Huntington College on Tuesday, November 9, 1999. His presentation, The Business of Ministry and the Ministry of Business, will begin at 8:00 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts on the campus of Huntington College. Dr. Befus will share insights and expertise on the intersection of business and evangelism. He has been involved in recognized micro-enterprise projects in the Third World for over 20 years, including initiatives sponsored by Opportunity International, World Relief, and World Vision. The Latin American Mission is a Christian outreach that works to develop leadership for the mission field and to establish programs to help the poor through job creation.
The Forester Lecture Series at Huntington College is coordinated by Dr. Chris Leland of the Department of Speech. The free, public lectures are designed to bring interesting persons and topics to the attention of students and the regional community.
