Thomas & The Situation are Coming to HU

The Thomas & The Situation concert originally scheduled for Martin Luther King Jr. Day has been rescheduled for Friday, February 11, at 7:00 p.m. The event will take place in Zurcher Auditorium in the Merillat Centre for the Arts.  

“This group brings the Gospel!” said Rev. Arthur Wilson, vice president for spiritual formation. “Seeing Thomas & The Situation on stage is a spiritual experience. It’s powerful, it’s motivating, it’s moving. You’re going to want to be there!”  

Thomas & The Situation is a group of singers and musicians from Indianapolis and surrounding cities in the Midwest. Led by J Thomas II, producer and songwriter, the group is currently working on their debut release. Thomas & The Situation have been influenced by Andre Crouch, Hawkins Family, Israel & New Breed, Kirk Franklin, Sly & Family Stone, and Earth Wind & Fire...just to name a few, and they aspire to “inspire and move the souls of people with their soulful and groovy sound.”

Thomas & The Situation will perform on Monday, January 17, at 7:00 p.m. in Zurcher Auditorium inside the Merillat Centre for the Arts on Huntington University’s home campus in Huntington, Indiana. This event is free and open to the public.
