Two students present research at symposium

Huntington, Ind. " Two Huntington College students recently presented research topics at the Sixth Annual Student Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium held at Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne. Students had fifteen minutes to present their research which was followed by a panel discussion.

G. Spencer Owen, a junior Communication Studies major from Rochester, Ill., presented Spiritual Warfare in the United States: Political Rhetoric and Public Opinion (President Roosevelt's Use of Gods and Devils Rhetoric in his 'Arsenal of Democracy' Speech on 29 December 1940). Owen was under the direction of Dr. Kevin Miller, Assistant Professor of Communication.

Kellie Anne Whiteman, a senior Chemistry major from Yoder, Ind., presented her research entitled, P69 Pertacin, Folding and Proteolysis Experiments. Whiteman was under the supervision of Patricia L. Clark, Department of Biochemistry.
