U.S. News names HU’s online degrees top Christian program in Indiana

HUNTINGTON, Ind. U.S. News and World Report named Huntington University one of the top colleges in the country for online bachelor's degree programs.

In results released today, Huntington was the top Christian college in Indiana and was third among all Indiana schools. In its 2014 list of the Best Online Bachelor's Programs, Huntington ranked 87th of 210 schools nationally. Only five Indiana colleges and universities made the national ranking.

"We are honored to again be listed among the top online programs in the country," said Julie Goetz, associate director of Professional Programs. "Our faculty and staff are committed to providing education in a format that meets the needs of our students, provides challenging and meaningful learning experiences and includes a Christian worldview in every course."

The rankings were based on the following categories: student engagement, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation and student services and technology.

Huntington offers four online bachelor's degree programs for adults in the areas of business administration, not-for-profit leadership, human resource management and marketing. An associate degree in organizational management is also offered in an online format.

Huntington provides a wide range of courses through the convenience of distance learning. In addition to the full online bachelor's degree programs, online undergraduate courses are offered to traditional undergraduate students during the summer months.
