Visiting Executive Seminar to focus on business challenges

Huntington, Ind. " Huntington College's next Visiting Executive Seminar will be held Friday, November 1, from 8:45 a.m. to noon, in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons. The seminar, led by Jim O'Donnell, associate professor of business and executive-in-residence, and Ned Kiser, vice president for advancement, will focus on challenges in the business world.

The topic discussion will center on two articles; How to lose $850 Million " and Not Really Care from the New York Times of June 9, 2002, and A CEO's Secret: His Long Battle with Depression from The Wall Street Journal of June 26, 2002.

You will be stimulated, I promise, said O'Donnell of the upcoming seminar. You may be challenged and upset, too.

The Visiting Executive Seminar is designed for business and civic leaders from the regional community, as well as Huntington College faculty, staff, and students. The event will be structured to foster open dialogue and discussion of the issues and recent case studies. The give-and-take format will help our attending students, who are 'leaders-in-formation,' to wrestle with these issues in their own lives and future career decisions, stated O'Donnell.
