Washington Monthly ranks HU as a Top 50 baccalaureate college

Huntington, Ind. - Washington Monthly, a monthly nonprofit magazine based in Washington, D.C., has ranked Huntington University as one of the Top 50 baccalaureate colleges in the nation.

The university was ranked No. 41 based on social mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), research (producing cutting-edge scholarship and PhDs), and service (encouraging students to give something back to their country).

Huntington University was also recently named one of the Top 10 Best Colleges in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report. Huntington was ranked eighth overall in the 2011 edition of the magazine's guide to "America's Best Colleges," and fifth in the "Great Schools, Great Prices" category for best-value colleges in the Midwest. Huntington was also ranked as 289th overall and ninth in the state of Indiana by Forbes.com. The Princeton Review named the university one of the best colleges and universities in the Midwest for the third consecutive year.
