Coffee Cups Series: Cafe of Hope

Part 2 of 3

Welcome back to our Coffee Cups Series! In the first part of our series, we visited JJ Java and learned about their convenient HU student discount, rewards system, and friendly atmosphere. To review everything JJ Java has to offer, check out the first post of the series. Today, we are stopping at Cafe of Hope, another delectable coffee shop in Huntington that has much more to offer than just coffee.

Stop #2: Cafe of Hope
Location: 900 East State St.

Hours

My Favorites: Pumpkin Fog, Caramel Latte, and Grown-Up Grilled Cheese

Nestled within the building of Life Church, Cafe of Hope is a popular spot for HU students to have a drink, lunch, and a study session. Created by Life Church to connect with the Huntington community and help people take their next steps towards Jesus, this coffee shop has an incredibly welcoming and loving environment. With an extensive drink menu, featuring candy-bar-inspired lattes and multiple flavors of chai tea, Cafe of Hope has an option for everyone. While their coffee and teas are handcrafted and delicious, what truly sets them apart from the rest of the stops in our coffee cups series is their food menu.

Serving both breakfast and lunch, which features breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and salads, Cafe of Hope is the perfect place to study for an extended amount of time or grab food with a friend. With its extended seating area of long tables, cushy chairs, and free Wi-Fi, this location is ideal for larger study groups or a Bible study meeting. From my own experience, Cafe of Hope has been the atmosphere that I want when I have a research paper to write or an important exam to study for. With quiet background music, little to no distractions, and plenty of space to spread out, this coffee shop is perfect for getting work done.

While Cafe of Hope does not have a drive-thru, they offer an online order pick-up service. Additionally, this stop in our tour has affordable pricing. Just like JJ Java, you can use Forester Bucks at this coffee shop, and there is also a rewards program that you can sign up for using your phone number. When you accumulate points, you can cash them in for free drinks!

For more information about the various drinks and food items Cafe of Hope serves, as well as information about their church services, visit Cafe of Hope’s website. To stay up to date on their hours and special deals, follow Cafe of Hope on Instagram and Facebook (@cafeofhope). With two coffee shop stops completed, our third and final local shop is one you will not want to miss. A visit to Coffee d’Vine awaits you in the third post of this series!
