Dr. Todd Martin earned his Ph.D. from Baylor University in 1998. His primary areas of interest are 20th century British and American literature, though he also dabbles in Science Fiction. He has presented his research at numerous academic conferences and has published articles on such varied authors as John Barth, E. E. Cummings, Clyde Edgerton, Julia Alvarez, Edwidge Danticat, Sherwood Anderson, and Katherine Mansfield. He served as Secretary and later President of the Katherine Mansfield Society. He has edited several books on Mansfield, including Katherine Mansfield and the Bloomsbury Group (2017), The Bloomsbury Handbook to Katherine Mansfield (2021), and Selected Short Stories of Katherine Mansfield: A Manuscript Critical Edition (2023), and was co-editor of Katherine Mansfield Studies for ten years. Besides teaching and researching, Dr. Martin is a wood carver; he has had several of his projects published in Woodcarving Illustrated and Chip Chats (the publication of the National Wood Carvers Association).
