HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University Peer Award recipients for April are Steve Alexander, HU maintenance technician, and Chad Ralston, HU electrician.

The Peer Award, which began in 2003, promotes acknowledgment and recognition of the outstanding efforts of Huntington University faculty and staff members. Award winners are chosen and recognized each month by fellow peers.

Alexander was recognized by Darlene Fairchild, data entry, because of his good work ethic.

"He is always very pleasant, willing to do whatever you ask and always follows through with what he says he'll do, and with a good sense of humor. I know my family has appreciated him over the years for helping us out in various ways and I just want to thank him for the quiet, humble, efficient, and Christ-like way he goes about doing his job," Fairchild said.

Ralston was recognized by Bob Landon, network and broadcast engineer, because of the great job that he has done working with the staff in Technology Services.

"Maintaining all the electrical systems on a campus this size is not an easy job, but Chad does it well. I can't think of anyone who deserves this award more," Landon said.
