Alpha Chi names Sophomore Award winners

Huntington, Ind.-The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship Honor Society presented five students at Huntington University with the 2007 Sophomore Honor Award on April 22. These students included
Leah Cressman, a social work major from York, Pa.
Lauren Davenport, an exercise science major from Andrews, Ind.
Elizabeth Holtrop, a political studies major from Huntington, Ind.
Katie Hursey, a journalism major from Columbia City, Ind., and Churubusco High School graduate
Cassie Rudy, an elementary education and special education major from Huntington, Ind.
They were recognized as the top students in their class at a reception hosted by the president of the university, Dr. G. Blair Dowden, at his home.
The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi at Huntington University is one of the top 10 chapters nationally of Alpha Chi's some 300 chapters and was national chapter of the year in 2001.
