Alpha Chi presents honor awards

Huntington, Ind.-The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship Honor Society presented six sophomores at Huntington University with the 2009 Alpha Chi Honor Award on April 26.

The recipients included the following,

Phil Black, a theatre performance major from West Lafayette, Ind.

Jared Grandlienard, a mathematics major from Monroe, Ind.

Amanda Kent, a public relations major from Williams, Ind.

Ross Kilgore, an educational ministries major from New Castle, Ind.

Andrew Martin, a digital media arts major from Eaton, Ohio


The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship Honor Society

Pete Molinero, a digital media arts major from Potsdam, N.Y.

Cassie Screeton, an economics and finance major is undecided from Rochester, Ind.

They were recognized as the top students in their class at a reception hosted by the interim president of the university, Dr. Ann McPherren.

The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi at Huntington University is one of the top 10 chapters nationally of Alpha Chi's some 300 chapters and was national chapter of the year in 2001.
