Bulla named Assistant Director of ERC

Huntington, Ind. "The Huntington University Enterprise Resource Center has named Lora Bulla its new Assistant Director. Bulla, a 2005 graduate of Huntington, holds a degree in business management and a minor in marketing. The Enterprise Resource Center (ERC), which opened in the fall of 2004, has since placed 190 students in real-world learning experiences such as internships, practicums and job shadowing.

As assistant director, Bulla will provide administrative support for the ERC and assist in cultivating existing and new experiential learning partnerships throughout the region. She is excited about developing new strategies to bring Huntington students into the ERC.

I'm excited about interacting with Huntington students and having the opportunity to still be a part of the University, Bulla said. I loved my time here and am excited to look at the University from a different angle. I'm also looking forward to getting students involved and finding ways to get them into the program and then seeing them succeed.

Bulla's own experience with the ERC as a student piqued her interest in the assistant director position. During her senior year, Bulla completed a marketing internship where she helped develop promotions and new strategies for Our Sunday Visitor, a Catholic offering envelope and publishing company.

I enjoyed being there, Bulla says. It was great, and I never would have found it on my own. I realized how great of a program the ERC was.

Kay Schwob, director of the ERC, says Bulla will bring a fresh perspective to the center.

Lora brings a fresh approach to marketing the ERC to students, Schwob said. Since she just graduated from Huntington, she still has lot of connections to students which will strengthen the connections between the students and how important experiential learning is. She has participated in the internship program herself which enabled her to put into practice the knowledge of her business and marketing classes. We are truly excited about having Lora on our team. She will be a welcome asset to our institution.
