Hartle, Burton recognized as March Peer Award recipients

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Peer Award recipients for March were Sandra Hartle, digital media arts assistant, and Deb Burton, EXCEL program coordinator.

The Peer Award, which began in 2003, promotes acknowledgement and recognition of the outstanding efforts of Huntington University faculty and staff members. Award winners are chosen and recognized each month by fellow peers.

Hartle was recognized by Bob Landon, network/broadcast engineer and administrator, for making "an incredible contribution to the DMA area in terms of helping all the administrative pieces fit together properly," Landon said. Hartle has been with the university for one year.

Burton was recognized by Nancy Barnes, music department secretary, for her gift of service and for making EXCEL a "pleasant experience," Barnes said. Burton has been with the university for seven years.
