Haupert named major gifts officer at Huntington University

Huntington, Ind. - Vincent Haupert has accepted a position with the Advancement Office at Huntington University. Haupert brings to the university extensive experience in financial, investment and estate planning services.

As a major gifts officer, Haupert will be responsible for the cultivation and solicitation of major donors. He will work alongside the president, senior leaders and the university's advancement staff to formulate and implement strategic approaches for the development of major gifts for the university.

As a young entrepreneur, Haupert began Innovative Financial Services and grew it into a successful business. It was later acquired by First Federal Savings Bank where it continued under his management. At the university, Haupert has also served on the President's Advisory Council on Excellence (PACE). This advisory group discusses strategic issues that are critical to the success of the campus.
Haupert's first official day on campus was today, Sept. 20.
