Have guitar, will travel

Huntington, Ind. "The month of December will be busy for Huntington College faculty member Michael Brennan. In addition to the local musical holiday celebrations, Brennan will take to the road with his guitar to share his musical talent. Brennan, an instructor in music at Huntington College, will be a guest clinician at the Midwest Christian Guitarist Conference in Newark, Ill., on December 8. On December 22, he will appear in a concert with soprano Maria Zouves in Tarpon Springs, Fla. The program will feature his arrangements of popular and traditional Greek songs.
An active performer and arranger, Brennan holds a doctoral teaching fellowship in Guitar Performance at Northwestern University Conservatory. Brennan is a member of Pi Kappa Lamda, the professional honors fraternity for musicians. He studied with David Grimes and has played for Frederic Hand, John Duarte, Marc Teicholz, and Margarita Escarpa in masterclasses. Brennan has taught at various schools across the United States including Mount San Antonio College, Cincinnati Bible College, University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music Summer Guitar Workshop and Communiversity, the Reid School, the Cincinnati School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and the University of Utah Continuing Education Program.
