Homestead student wins Best of Show in HU’s High School exhibit

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Madison Brown of Homestead High School won Best of Show for her piece "Unexpected Harm" in Huntington University's 9th Annual High School Art Exhibit. The awards reception was held Feb. 15.

The exhibit is open to the public in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery on campus through Feb. 22.

Devanne Hamman from Carroll High School received first place for "The Head and the Heart are Much Too Distant."

Marret Metzger from Manchester High School, received second place for "Ceramic Bowl."

Amanda Weaver from Peru High School took third place for "Can You Reach?"

The Wilson Gallery, located in the Merillat Centre for the Arts, is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., before and after all MCA performances and by appointment.
