HU alumnus to present computer science seminar

HUNTINGTON, Ind.- Rick Miller, director of information systems operational excellence at the Parkview Health System in Fort Wayne, will give a presentation titled "Confessions of a Math/CS Major: Education, Work, Family and God" at 4 p.m. March 4 in Hiner Hall of the Science Hall at Huntington University.

Miller is director of operations for several areas within information services and oversees multi-million dollar operational and capital budgets within the Parkview Health network including physician offices. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science in 1989 from HU.

The seminar is part of the Gerald. D. Smith Lecture Series in the Natural and Mathematical Sciences, and is free and open to the public.
