Huntington University to offer marketing, nursing online this fall

HUNTINGTON, Ind. This fall, Huntington University will launch two new online degree programs in marketing and nursing.

The Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and the RN to BSN degree will be offered in fully online formats through the university's EXCEL Adult Degree Programs. The marketing program is also offered onsite in Huntington and Columbia City, and the RN to BSN program is available in Huntington as well as the addition of Fort Wayne this fall.

The RN to BSN degree prepares graduates for management and higher-level patient-care positions while the marketing degree includes specialized training in advertising and salesmanship, digital marketing, public relations and social media, market research and graphic design.

"We are excited to offer the marketing and RN to BSN degrees online as a part of our continued effort to meet student demand for convenient, high-quality, faith-based degrees," said Shelly Francka, director of the EXCEL Adult Degree Program. "The online delivery method, as well as our accelerated format, continues to allow learners to be actively involved with their family, church and community and work a full-time job. We are dedicated to meeting community and student needs. We look forward to exploring new programs and relationships in an effort to meet those demands."

Huntington University offers a wide range of courses through the convenience of distance learning. EXCEL administers online bachelor's degree programs in business administration, human resource management and not-for-profit leadership as well as an associate degree program in organizational management. Online undergraduate courses are offered to traditional undergraduate students during the summer months. The graduate school has master's degree programs in youth ministry leadership and education offered in an online hybrid format.

The university's online degree programs were recently awarded honor roll status in the first-ever edition of Top Online Education Program rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
