Jones, Michelson receive April Peer Awards

Huntington, Ind. "The Huntington College Peer Award has been passed on to two individuals for the month of April. The March recipients, Becky Lyons and Dr. John Sanders, passed their awards on to Pat Jones and Dr. Paul Michelson, respectively. The Peer Award was created to promote acknowledgement and recognition of the outstanding efforts of faculty and staff members. Lyons passed the award on to Pat Jones, assistant in library services. Lyons stated Pat always has a cheerful smile and is warm and friendly to all. While she usually works behind the scene, she is welcoming and helpful and courteous when I come into the library. Pat is an outstanding Christian example for me and an asset to Huntington College.
Dr. Paul Michelson receives the April Peer Award from Dr. John Sanders.
Sanders, passed his award onto Dr. Paul Michelson, distinguished professor of history. Of Michelson, Sanders said, In the past month Paul has helped me think through an issue of historical research. Outside of work he, along with his wife Jean, has manifested concern for the well being of my family. Paul is a tremendous scholar and is also active in church and community.
