Judge Cherry to speak at Foundation Breakfast

Huntington, Ind. " How well do you know the law? The Honorable Paul R. Cherry, Judge of the DeKalb Circuit Court in Auburn, Indiana, will test your knowledge of the law at the next breakfast of the Huntington College Foundation on Wednesday, May 10, 2000.

Breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons. The program will conclude by 9:00 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $6 per person. First-time guests are not charged.

Judge Cherry is a 1973 graduate of Huntington College and serves as Chairman of the College's Board of Trustees. For the past 15 years, Judge Cherry has served as a part-time professor of business law at Huntington College.

In 1977, Mr. Cherry received the Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Ohio Northern University. He also graduated from the Indiana Judicial College in 1994.

Twice elected DeKalb County Circuit Court Judge, the Honorable Judge Paul R. Cherry also served two terms as DeKalb County Prosecuting Attorney. By special appointment by the Indiana Supreme Court, he has presided as Special Judge in several cases of complex litigation.
