March Foundation Breakfast to showcase innovation, student ventures

HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University Foundation will feature a
program on innovation and student ventures at its next Foundation
Breakfast on March 12.
Karl LaPan, president and CEO of the
Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), will share his insights into
the role that NIIC plays in equipping the next generation of student
entrepreneurial leaders through its Student Venture Lab program. HU
junior film production student Matt Burris will also share how the NIIC
has helped him with the challenges and opportunities of launching a
business as a film producer.
The Foundation Breakfast is open to
the public. It will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons
at Huntington University and conclude by 9 a.m. The cost of the
breakfast is $7. First-time attendees eat free courtesy of Bailey-Love
Mortuary.

Since
1938, the Huntington University Foundation has assisted Huntington
County residents who attend Huntington University through the annual
Huntington County Grant and endowed scholarships.
