Nalliah, Fortney recognized as March Peer Award recipients

HUNTINGTON, Ind.- The Huntington University Peer Award recipients for March are Paul Nalliah, administrative systems administrator, and Tana Fortney, accounting clerk.

The Peer Award, which began in 2003, promotes acknowledgement and recognition of the outstanding efforts of Huntington University faculty and staff members. Award winners are chosen and recognized each month by fellow peers.

Nalliah was recognized by Dr. Kevin Miller, associate professor of communication, who said that Nalliah "knows his stuff" when it comes to computer technology.

"Paul is professional yet accessible, a great asset to the university," Miller said.

Fortney was recognized by Grace McBrayer, director of first-year students and volunteer services, for being one of the hardest workers that she knows at HU.

"(Tana) has gone above and beyond to help me sort out issues with our accounts," McBrayer said. "Tana is a long-time dedicated worker who always has a positive attitude."
