Nalliah, Miller receive May Peer Award

Huntington, Ind. " The Huntington College Peer Award has been passed on to two new individuals for the month of May. April's recipients, Professor Ken Hopper and Mrs. Sarah Harvey, passed their awards along to Mr. Rick Miller and Mr. Paul Nalliah, respectively. The Peer Award was created to promote acknowledgement and recognition of the outstanding efforts of faculty and staff members.

Hopper, assistant professor of art, chose to recognize Miller, the College's network engineer. Miller is in his first year serving at Huntington College in the technology services department.

Rick has a true servant's heart. His upbeat and positive attitude is contagious and he's a joy to work with, Hopper said. His obvious Christian commitment to, and love for his family is heartwarming. His humility, patience and commitment to serving his HC family are greatly appreciated.

Paul Nalliah received the May Peer Award from Sarah Harvey.
Harvey, the Huntington College registrar, chose to recognize Nalliah, administrative systems administrator of the technology services department. Nalliah has served at the College for seven years.

Paul always takes time to answer questions and find solutions to problems. He is unfailingly patient, friendly and helpful, Harvey said. He always does more than I expect him to do to solve problems. He is always courteous, kind and interested in making my job easier. His attitude and support are a great encouragement to me.

Miller and Nalliah will pass the award to two new recipients from another department during the month of June.
