Wagner, Trout acknowledged with Peer Awards
FOR RELEASE: Tuesday, October 3, 2006
Huntington, Ind.-Recipients of the Huntington University Peer Award for the month of October are John Wagner and Cathy Trout. Jan Yost, data management coordinator, passed the Peer Award to John Wagner. Wagner is network administrator in the Technology Services Department and has been with Huntington University for six years.
In recognizing Wagner, Yost said, "John is very vital to me and many others in being able to do my job as much of what I do is on the computer. He is always pleasant and patient even when dealing with some 'dumb' questions. I wondered if I could legally pass this award to John since he is in our department so often. We joke about the fact that we should find permanent office space for him in Advancement. I appreciate John's promptness in responding to computer problems, his persistence in trying to resolve various issues and his patience with the 'technology-challenged' people like me."
Wendy Gower, technology services office manager, passed the Peer Award to Cathy Trout. Trout is administrative assistant to the vice president and dean of the University and also has been with Huntington University for six years.
In recognizing Trout, Gower said, "Cathy is the type of person to always graciously take the time to assist with the needs and requests of others. She is very organized and has been efficient in helping me with my questions and requests. Cathy is a very pleasant person to work with. Thank you, Cathy, for all that you do for the Huntington University campus community."
