White, controller and director of financial services, has worked at Huntington College for five years.
There have been multiple occasions when I've needed to ask for an opinion on how to handle a difficult situation, and Jerry has always been there to listen, whether that be over the telephone or over a Subway sandwich, commented Perry, assistant director of enrollment. I also appreciate Jerry's constant modeling of a Christian businessman.
McEowen, assistant professor of business, has served at Huntington College for seven years and is the owner of McJon Photo in Ft. Wayne.
David McEowen and Mary Ruthi
David is an excellent role model for students, and he has contributed greatly to the academic and spiritual development of those students who have been fortunate enough to have classes with him. I feel blessed to have him as a colleague and as a friend, said Ruthi, professor of sociology.
Next month, White and McEowen will pass the Peer Award on to two fellow colleagues of their choice. For more information on the Peer Award, visit www.huntington.edu/peeraward/.
