UB Youth Camp

Join us July 7-10, 2024 at Huntington University

"Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and love your neighbor as yourself” - Mark 12:29- 31

What does that look like in real life? Join us for Thrive, a camp experience designed for UB high school students and their youth pastors, as we explore this question. This 4-day camp hosted by Huntington University will help students:

  • Connect with fellow campers from around the country
  • Engage in fun activities like ziplining and a live concert
  • Grow through dynamic breakout sessions designed around Mental Health, Marketplace Readiness, Missions, and Mind

What breakout choices will I have?

You will have your choice of breakout sessions about:

Mental Health: emotional, phycological and social well-being.

Marketplace Readiness: understanding the relationship between vocation and the calling on our lives by Christ.

Missions: a global perspective on sharing Christ.

Mind: asking good questions and critical thinking.

Do I have to come with my youth group or youth pastor?

No, you may join your youth group if they are attending but you may come without them too. You will have a great time either way.

Do I have to be a United Brethren?

Yes and No... This camp is specifically designed for students who regularly attend a UB church, and your experience will be best if you understand that youth group dynamic.

Let Forester Camps work with your students while you...

Learn
Dr. Dave Rahn and Roger Vezeau will be leading sessions for YOU that will “Bring something fresh and new” to how you disciple students."

Rest
We want to serve you and one of the ways we want to do that is to give you down time to recover mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually -- there will be time built in to just relax-golf, visit the lake, spend time socializing with other youth pastors or just take a nap.

Connect
We plan to build in time every evening for you to sit and talk with your students. Hear how their days was, ask them what they learned and engage them in this time.
