Becoming a Bee

Huntington, Ind. " Dwight Ericcson will turn Thornhill Nature Preserve into a living beehive Tuesday, April 9, as he introduces the world of bees to the local public. Ericcson, who has been a beekeeper since 1975, will share honey samples and lecture about the lives of bees. His interactive program will allow participants to get an inside look at the inner workings of a beehive by assuming the roles of different bees within the hive. The 90-minute program will begin at 7 p.m. at Thornhill Nature Preserve. Refreshments will be provided.
