Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Student Senate will host a Benefit Car Show from 3 to 7 p.m. April 24 on the university campus to raise $20,000 to purchase a new mini-van for the Joe Mertz Center.

The Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service is a student-directed organization that mobilizes the campus community for Christian service. "Senate strives to meet the needs of students, and this is a great way to help students help others," said HU senior Alex Lute, Student Senate executive secretary.
