Expert panel to discuss life, impact of C.S. Lewis

HUNTINGTON, Ind. A panel of experts on the impact, life and writings of famed author C.S. Lewis will be at Huntington University at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 for the next segment of the Forester Lecture Series. The panel will discuss how, even 50 years after his death, C.S. Lewis' work continues to make a profound impact on so many.
C.S. Lewis is best known for his work of fiction and non-fiction such as "Mere Christianity," "The Screwtape Letters" and "The Chronicles of Narnia," which has been adapted into film, television and screenplays shown the world over.
The panel will be comprised of Dr. Devin Brown, a professor of English at Asbury College and a scholar on C.S. Lewis; Dr. Paulette Sauders, professor of English and journalism at Grace College; Dr. Lewis Pearson, assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Saint Francis; and Dr. Paul Michelson, distinguished professor of history at Huntington University and researcher into the works of C.S. Lewis.
The lecture is free and open to the public and will be held in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons at HU.
The Forester Lecture Series is designed to bring interesting persons and topics to the attention of students and the regional community.
