Fort Wayne medical director to present at Smith Lecture Series
FOR RELEASE: Thursday, February 16, 2012

After receiving his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio, Crook completed his residency in internal health, with an emphasis in international health, at the MetroHealth Center at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Prior to becoming medical director at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in 2010, Crook served as the palliative care medical director for Blanchard Valley Hospital and as medical director of the Bridge Home Health and Hospice in Findlay, Ohio.
Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home is a non-profit, community-based agency that provides hospice and palliative care to patients in their home, in area nursing facilities and in the agency's 14-bed hospice home. As the medical director, Crook meets with the patients and their families in Hospice Home and oversees patients of the area nursing facilities in the eight county region the agency serves in northeast Indiana.
The seminar is free and open to the public.
