Friesen Center to host final blood drive of academic year

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Huntington University's Friesen Center for Volunteer Service will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2 in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons on campus. This will be the fourth and final blood drive for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The Friesen Center hosts blood drives each year in conjunction with the American Red Cross.

Individuals who donate or volunteer their time will be entered into a drawing to win prizes, courtesy of the American Red Cross. The drawings for volunteering and donating are $50 and $75 Visa gift cards.

Individuals who are interested in donating blood may register online at www.givelife.org or in person in the Habecker Dining Commons at Huntington University. Walk-ins are also acceptable, but everyone participating must have a photo ID. The blood drive is open to the public.
