Holtrop co-edits a book

Dr. Steve Holtrop, dean of graduate/adult programs, co-edited a book titled, "In Transition: Adult Higher Education Governance in Private Institutions." Part of a series on "New Directions in Higher Educa
tion," this volume looks at various governance structures for adult programs at Christian colleges. In the final chapter, Holtrop concludes that campus cultures and program size can create totally different governance structures in which adult programs operate. Holtrop worked alongside Dr. Richard Ellis, Graduate School dean at John Brown University. The book project was in connection with the Center for Research on Adult Learning, a CCCU center hosted at Indiana Wesleyan University.
