Huntington to host middle grades math competition

Huntington, Ind.-Huntington University will hold its first mathematics competition for middle grades students on April 25. Fifteen teams representing schools or homeschool organizations from Indiana and Ohio will gather in the university's Habecker Dining Common's banquet rooms to compete for the top prizes, both individually and by team. Students begin with a 20 multiple-choice question written test, followed by a quick-response individual round. After lunch, teams will work together on one final round of questions before awarding the top honors to the three best teams and three best individuals.
