Huntington University hosts English conference

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University English department hosted the annual Indiana College English Association conference on October 23, 2009. English faculty members and graduate students from throughout the state attended the one-day event. Matt Mullins, assistant professor of creative writing at Ball State University, presented the keynote address, speaking on "What the Image Says: Visualizing Meaning across Genres." Other faculty members and graduate students presented the results of their own research in different sessions throughout the day.

Dr. Linda Urschel, conference coordinator was elected to serve as president of ICEA for 2010-11.
