CollegeValuesOnline.com has ranked Huntington University as the #16 best value for an online master’s degree in counseling. The top 30 schools in the United States were identified for the 2016-2017 ranking.

“We are excited and honored to be awarded this recognition as one of the top graduate counseling programs in the country. We believe our program is a success not only because it’s a great value, but its unique approach to each student’s personal, professional, and spiritual development,” said Dr. Jerry Davis, Director of Graduate Counseling Program / Professor of Counseling.

CollegeValuesOnline.com’s list of the top 30 online master’s in counseling programs for 2016-2017 were ranked according to their affordability. Finalists were selected out of 75 schools currently offering online counseling programs. All of the schools ranked are non-profit, regionally-accredited universities. Many of the universities listed are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), which is the foremost accreditor of graduate level counseling programs in the United States. Points were awarded based on the category in which the school had the highest score for in-state or out-of-state tuition. Bonus points were then awarded for standout features such as being CACREP-accredited, dual degrees, multiple specializations, etc. To view the complete rankings, visit http://www.collegevaluesonline.com/rankings/graduate/online-masters-in-counseling/.
