Jones, Wright and Yan attend conference

Dr. Francis Jones, professor emeritus of mathematical sciences, Dr. Matthew Wright, assistant professor of mathematics, and Dr. Yu Yan, assistant professor of mathematics, attended the 39th Annual Miami Mathematics Conference at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, on Sept. 30 through Oct. 1. This year's conference dealt with aspects of mathematics and finance that can be represented by Brownian Motion models. Also attending the conference were the students: Chris Erickson, Kelsey Green, Zach Keller, Adam Rucker, Eric Schultz and Megan Verhasselt.
