MacDonald and Boucouras present at convention

Dr. Carla MacDonald, associate professor of social work, and Gina Boucouras, senior social work major from Columbus, Ohio, presented at the 63rd annual convention of the North American Association of Christians in Social Work in Atlanta. Their workshop presentation was on "Conducting a Social Welfare Policy Analysis." MacDonald and Boucouras discussed the methods used to reach baccalaureate social work students and the steps in conducting a social welfare policy analysis. The steps were demonstrated by Boucouras as she shared her recent classroom assignment on a proposed Indiana Senate Bill on drug testing of public assistance recipients.
