O’Hearn runs a service dog charity

Dr. Tamara O'Hearn, visiting instructor of English, runs a service dog charity called Gamsby's Project. Founded in 2007, the project brings free service dog visitations to hospitals, hospices and children's homes for the severely disabled in Huntington, Wabash and Allen counties.
