O’Hearn’s charity wins second place

FOR RELEASE: Tuesday, November 5, 2013

Dr. Tamara O'Hearn's service dog charity called Gamsby's Project recently won second place for Wabash County in the 2013 Beacon Credit Union's Project Spotlight competition. Founded in 2007, her charity brings free service dog visitations to hospitals, hospices and children's homes for the severely disabled in Huntington, Wabash and Allen counties. O'Hearn is a visiting instructor of English.
