Multilingual Learner Summer Camp

Registration is open for the 2023 Multilingual Learner Summer Camp. Programs are open to current 2022-2023 high school sophomores through high school seniors who want a glimpse of what it would be like to pursue attending college.

This camp is completely free for anyone whose first language is something other than English, up to the first 50 students who apply and are accepted.

This five-day up-close look at college life and learning will give you opportunities to continue improving your English with other multilingual learners and prepare for a future college career. You’ll learn from and work closely with amazing Huntington University educators while also having fun with your fellow campers. Highlights will include

• Completing Academic English practice tasks and activities led by current college students and professors
• Gaining exposure to a variety of college degree programs and interacting with professors from several departments, including education, health sciences, agriculture, and the digital media arts
• Living in real college residence halls with other high school camp students and current college students
• Meeting with college admissions and financial aid representatives to learn about the process of applying to college and the financial options that could make it possible for you and your family
