Barkley, Jones, Geer, and Shenefield participate in Taylor U. program

Four Huntington University women are participating in a program through Taylor University titled "Leadership Exploration for Women." The program involves participating in a day-long retreat, developing a plan for professional and professional development, attending monthly lunches, reading articles pertaining to women in leadership and meeting with a mentor (optional). The participants have a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences from admissions to student development as well as faculty from all areas of higher education. LEW runs through the 2011-12 academic year. Those participating are Mrs. Heather Barkley, coordinator for graduate and adult program marketing, Ms. Mallory Jones, resident director for Roush and Baker halls, Mrs. Valerie Geer, associate director of the Institute for TESOL Studies and Prof. Diana Shenefield, instructor of nursing.
