HU professor to present ‘The Mathematics of Juggling’

HUNTINGTON, Ind. How do math and juggling relate? Well, Huntington University professor Dr. Matthew Wright plans to unveil this mystery during a presentation at 4 p.m. Nov. 11. Wright, assistant professor of mathematics, will present "The Mathematics of Juggling" in Hiner Hall of the Science Hall. This unique and entertaining lecture will demonstrate and explain mathematical patterns generated through juggling.
The seminar is part of the Gerald D. Smith Lecture Series in the Natural and Mathematical Sciences. It is free and open to the public.
Wright, who holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and computer science from Messiah College, began teaching Huntington University this fall.
