HU professor to represent Evangelical Christians on panel

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Dr. Kent Eilers, assistant professor of theology at Huntington University, will represent Evangelical Christians on an upcoming multi-faith event titled "How Good Must I Be? The Consequences of My Choices."
The five panelists will be presented questions and then will answer from their faith's perspective.
Others on the panel and their faiths are:
- William Smits, MD, The Asthma and Allergy Center - Baha'i
- Preeti Dembla MD, Internal Medicine - Hindu
- Mohammed Saad Ghazali, MD, Pediatric Cardiology Associates, P.C. - Islam
- Rabbi Javier E. Cattapan, Congregation Achduth Vesholom - Judaism
The speakers will be addressing the following questions:
- According to your faith what constitutes wrong doing?
- According to your faith what are the consequences of our choices?
- According to your faith how good must I be? How should I live my life?
The event will be held at Canterbury Middle School in Fort Wayne from 7-8:30 p.m. April 11.
