Huntington University crowns 2010 Homecoming court

Huntington, Ind. - The Huntington University student body crowned its Homecoming king and queen Friday during an evening ceremony in Habecker Dining Commons. Senior Peter Molinero, an animation major from Potsdam, N.Y., was named king while senior Carita Landes, a graphic design major from Sheridan, Ind., was crowned queen.

Senior attendants of the Homecoming court included Joel Bullis, an animation major from Bel Air, Md.; Jared Grandlienard, a mathematics majors from Bluffton, Ind.; Mark Wiley, a business management and business economics and finance double major from Huntington, Ind.; Jacqueline Bashop, an educational ministries major from Roanoke, Ind.; Gloria Bonilla, a public relations major from Honduras; and Janalee Boroff, a journalism and public relations double major from Willshire, Ohio.

Representing the freshman class were court attendants James Parker, a sport and exercise studies major from the Republic of South Africa; and Hannah Fox, a middle grades (social studies) education major from Decatur, Ind. The sophomore class nominated Lance Wood, a business management and small business double major from Waterville, Ohio; and Abbey Wise, a middle grades (social studies) education major from Frankfort, Ill., as their representatives. And rounding out the homecoming court were juniors Ryan Schnurr, a broadcasting and film studies double major from Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Alysse Perez, an elementary education major from Holland, Mich.
