Huntington University to host 59th performance of ‘Messiah’

HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University Concert Choir and Orchestra together with the Community Festival Chorus present the 59th annual performance of Handel's "Messiah."The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington.
The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will showcase featured soloists senior Brittany Blazier, alto; senior Jacob Smith, tenor; sophomore Osvaldo Gil, bass; and adjunct professor Joni Killian, soprano. Dr. George Killian, director of chorale activities and music education, will conduct.
