O’Donnell to present perspective on economy in CNWS lecture

Jim O'Donnell, Luke J. Peters Professor of BusinessHUNTINGTON, Ind. The Centre for Non-Western Studies at Huntington University and the Focus on Excellence colloquium present a special lecture by Professor Jim O'Donnell on the "The Rise of the East: Is the sun setting on the American economic empire?" The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in the RichLyn Library Conference Room.

O'Donnell is the Luke J. Peters Professor of Business and executive-in-residence at HU. He is a certified public accountant and spent many years as an executive in the financial services industry with such firms as Fidelity Investments and the Dreyfus Corporation in Boston and New York, respectively.

This lecture is free and open to the public.

The Centre for Non-Western Studies supports inter-disciplinary research and teaching linked by a shared common interest in non-western politics, culture and society. Begun in 1998, the "Focus on Excellence" colloquium runs twice a year in an effort to showcase excellence as presented by university faculty or members of the Huntington community.
