University marketing materials win 10 ADDY (R) awards

Youniversity materials for undergraduate admissions Huntington, Ind.-The Brand Innovation Group (Big) of Fort Wayne recently won 13 ADDY (R) awards, 10 for marketing materials created for Huntington University.
"We want the brand image of Huntington University to be associated with quality and excellence but also with a distinctive and inviting personality," said Jeff Berggren, vice president of enrollment management and marketing. "The projects we have partnered on with Big have accomplished that. We share some important common values and creative approaches that make working together a very rewarding and successful endeavor. We continually look forward to the ideas that will emerge for our next round of promotional materials."

The ADDY (R) awards were given by the Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne. Entries were judged on whether they had impact, a unifying theme, a call to action and something unique.
Big won the best in show interactive award with Huntington's Explorester Visit Kit Campaign, www.explorehuntington.com.

Big also garnered a silver award for "Together: The Campaign for Huntington University" in the sales kit category.
A total of 352 items were submitted for judging in the ADDY (R) awards competition. Categories included brochures, packaging, posters and Web sites as well as newspaper, TV and radio advertising campaigns.
The ADDY (R) judges were Michael Harlow, principal/creative director at Harlow & Co. in Indianapolis; Alfredo Augusto Marin-Carle, associate professor of graphics at Ball State University in Muncie; and Justin Ginther, senior art director at Caldwell VanRiper in Indianapolis. Judges for the local competition cannot be employed in the Fort Wayne market or have connections to area businesses.
Admissions materials for the Master of Arts program in youth ministry leadership
The judges awarded a total of 70 gold ADDY (R) awards.
Local gold medal winners are entered in a regional competition. The national ADDY (R) awards recognize the best of 14 regional competitions, including the states of Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.
