Urschel presents paper at conference

Dr. Linda Urschel, professor of English, presented a paper at the Indiana College English Association conference in Valparaiso, Ind. The paper, "Sing[er] a Song of Salvation: John Singer as a Savior Figure in The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter," dealt with Christian images in the novel and the failure of the character to live up to his role as a savior. Urschel serves on the board of the ICEA.
