Adapted from the Junie B. Jones series of books by Barbara Park

Get ready for a delightful family night out with the Huntington University Performing Arts Department's production of Junie B. Jones, the Musical! It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting. Perfect for kids and fans of the famous book series, this original musical promises fun-filled entertainment that will have the whole family smiling from start to finish.

Arsenic and Old Lace

by Joseph Kesselring

Drama critic Mortimer Brewster’s engagement announcement is upended when he discovers a corpse in his elderly aunts’ window seat. Mortimer rushes to tell Abby and Martha before they stumble upon the body themselves, only to learn that the two old women aren’t just aware of the dead man in their parlor, they killed him! Between his aunts’ penchant for poisoning wine, a brother who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt, and another brother using plastic surgery to hide from the police—not to mention Mortimer’s own hesitancy about marriage—it’ll be a miracle if Mortimer makes it to his wedding. Arsenic and Old Lace is a classic black comedy about the only thing more deadly than poison: family. Arsenic and Old Lace is presented by special arragement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection.

An educational matinee performance for public, private, and homeschool students is on Thursday, February 5 at 9:30am. Tickets must be reserved in advance by contacting the box office.

March 25-28, 2026 (Studio Theatre)

Generally regarded as one of Christie’s most accomplished plays, this suspenseful thriller keeps audiences guessing until the very end. Witness for the Prosecution is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

An educational matinee performance for public, private, and homeschool students is on Wednesday, March 25 at 9:30am. Tickets must be reserved in advance by contacting the box office.
